Project overview: The prime mixed use development comprised of a residential tower of apartments, hotel, social housing apartments and commercial units on top of a sitewide basement car park. Prior use of the land was by a large warehouse housing a factoryStats: approx. Development Size, 4 buildings and a basement car parkValue: approx. £100MTimeline: 2 year completionLocation: NW London, in close proximity to Wembley stadiumRoles & Responsibilities: As Junior Project manager (client side) working alongside other project managers, I helped deliver a mixed use development project valued at approximately £100 million. Maintaining relationships and managing expectations were key to my success here where I regularly liaised with the main contractor, subcontractors and external accountants, lawyers and project managers.

Hotels

Project overview: This new build hotel was initially created to a 3 star fitout, once the hotel operator came on board they decided to upgrade the hotel to a 4 star level. It consists of 235 rooms with 2 conferencing/ meeting rooms with a front of house bar and restaurant.Stats: approx. Development Size, 235 Bed 3 star hotel which was then upgraded to a 4 starValue: approx. £35MTimeline: 2 year completionLocation: NW London, in close proximity to Wembley stadiumRoles & Responsibilities: Worked alongside the hotel operator’s project management team to upgrade the hotel to the 4 star fitout keeping within the brand standards.

Project overview: Selection of studios, 1 bed, 2 bed and 3 bed duplexes to a mid – high level fitout with a 24 hrs concierge and residents only gym.Stats: approx. Development Size, 21 stores, 131 apartmentsValue: approx. £35MTimeline: 2 year completionLocation: NW London, in close proximity to Wembley stadiumRoles & Responsibilities: Regularly liaised with the main contractor, subcontractors and external consultants, lawyers and local authority. Managed product and material procurement processes. Carried out contract administration and went through valuations, payment requests and snagging.

Project Overview: Demolition and development of an old public house into a new block of 36 number residential apartmentsStats: approx. Project overview: New design & build project for a new brand of convenience stores. Assisted the client in the development of the brand design and carried out the fitout of the convenience store.Stats: approx. Liaised with sub-contractors and suppliers in order to fit out the store for the client.

Cladding Remediation

Project overview: Replacement of Aluminium Composite Material (ACM) Panel cladding on a residential tower of 21 stories high made from prefabricated modular system.Stats: approx. Development Size, 21 stores, 131 apartmentsValue: approx. £7MTimeline: 1 year completionLocation: NW London, in close proximity to Wembley stadiumRoles & Responsibilities: Carried out façade surveys and liaised with all relevant parties. Developed a detailed design for a bespoke solution. Implemented the actual solution. Used custom made MCWPs instead of a full scaffolding method to carry out the works.
